Carrefour Europe 2014 - Expand to European markets
November 6, 2014
The Hungarian-Canadian Chamber of Commerce (HCCC) is organising with its partners Carrefour Europe 2014. We will be presenting the advantages of setting up a subsidiary in Hungary focusing on the manufacturing sector. In the spirit of supporting Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s plan of green industrialisation for Hungary.
Hungary is an ideal location to setup light manufacturing, distribution and services. Today Hungary acts as a regional manufacturing hub for many multinationals due to its excellent central location in Europe. A 1000 km radius around Budapest provides a potential consumer market of over 300,000,000 consumers. The EU comprises of over 500,000,000 people. Due to these facts and Hungary’s competent labour pool many multinationals have expanded their operations in Hungary despite the financial crisis.
Hungarian Innovations will be introduced with the objective to develop partnerships that can take advantage of the Horizon 2020 program. Only innovations with prototypes that are able to show their proof of concept are included. We will be presenting our new web portal, www.HungarianInnovations.com for Hungarian Innovations to be able to follow developments in this important economic sector.
